The idea for BioBeen began during an overseas trip, where electric composters were already widely used in countries such as South Korea, Canada, and the United States.
Seeing how seamlessly these systems were integrated into everyday homes highlighted a clear opportunity for Australia.
Following 18 months of research and development, BIO1, the first generation of the BioBeen electric composter, was introduced for Australian households.
